On the convergence of the Bhattacharyya bounds in the multiparametric case

Shanbhag (1972, 1979) showed that the diagonality of the Bhattacharyya matrix characterizes the set of normal, Poisson, binomial, negative binomial, gamma or Meixner hypergeometric distributions.
