Multi-objective Optimization Problem with Bounded Parameters

Ajay Kumar BhurjeeGeetanjali Panda — 2014

RAIRO - Operations Research - Recherche Opérationnelle

In this paper, we propose a nonlinear multi-objective optimization problem whose parameters in the objective functions and constraints vary in between some lower and upper bounds. Existence of the efficient solution of this model is studied and gradient based as well as gradient free optimality conditions are derived. The theoretical developments are illustrated through numerical examples.

Experimental Study on Nonlinear Vibrations of Fixed-Fixed Curved Beams

Ajay KumarB. P. Patel — 2016

Curved and Layered Structures

Nonlinear dynamic behavior of fixed-fixed shallow and deep curved beams is studied experimentally using non-contact type of electromagnetic shaker and acceleration measurements. The frequency response obtained from acceleration measurements is found to be in fairly good agreement with the computational response. The travellingwave phenomenon along with participation of higher harmonics and softening nonlinearity are observed. The experimental results on the internal resonance of curved beams due...

On some generalized Sister Celine’s polynomials

Mumtaz Ahmad KhanAjay Kumar Shukla — 1999

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Certain generalizations of Sister Celine’s polynomials are given which include most of the known polynomials as their special cases. Besides, generating functions and integral representations of these generalized polynomials are derived and a relation between generalized Laguerre polynomials and generalized Bateman’s polynomials is established.
