Migrazione, sopravvivenza e attività mitotica delle colture in vitro di fibroblasti di pollo dopo irradiazione Röntgen da 1.000 r a 5.000 r

Oliviero Mario OlivoAnna Fiorella Valentini — 1970

Atti della Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali. Rendiconti

The action of 1., 2., 3., 4. and 5.000 r Röntgen radiations was experimented on the migration, survival and mitotic activity of in vitro hanging drop cultivated fibroblasts. Radial migration area was decreasing continuously, with increasing radiation doses, from the 4th day till the 12th day. After 12 days migration speed returned to normal and all cultures survived indefinitely. Mitosis number increased remarkably 5' after irradiation, reduced more and more after 15' and 30' with minimum value...

Rendiconti

Authors observe how, in particular situations, able to modify the extracellular habitat, the epithelial tissue can present a phenomenon named “modulation”, distinguished by detachment of cellular elements and by acquisition of a clear amoeboid activity, by consequence the tissue changes its usual morphology, maintaining its primitive nature too. Moreover they maintain that such a phenomenon is not limited to the epithelial tissue, but it may be verified in any kind of tissue with the characters...

- Sensibilità delle cellule coltivate in vitro all'azione del campo magnetico

Atti della Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali. Rendiconti

In vitro cultivated fibroblasts were exposed to magnetic fields for 1/2h, 1h, 12h and 24h. Cell migration velocity was not influenced. Mitosis increase per mm from 19% to 49% was observed after exposure to magnetic fields for 1/2h and 1h. -After exposure for 12h and 24h, mitosis dropped to about 50%. The AA. consider the action of magnetic fields to be two-fold: to extend duration of actual mitosis without stopping its accomplishment and to reduce the DNA synthesis. Morphologically abnormal mitoses...

Azione differenziale del tiopentale sodico su tessuti embrionali diversi (miocardio e tessuto nervoso) coltivati in vitro

Atti della Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali. Rendiconti

The action of Farmotal action, at 0,1%-0,0001% concentration, was experimented on in vitro cultivated myocardium, lobi ottici and spinal ganglia. 0,01%-0,10% concentrations depressed myocardial cellular migration and proliferation; 0,04% concentration stopped contractile activity instantly. Spinal ganglia and lobi ottici expiants underwent regressive deterioration for 10 times ower doses (0,002%-0,008%). Nerve fibres gave out hyaline buds, cells regressed and both disintegrated in the end.
