In vitro cultivated fibroblasts were exposed to magnetic fields for 1/2h, 1h, 12h and 24h. Cell migration velocity was not influenced. Mitosis increase per mm from 19% to 49% was observed after exposure to magnetic fields for 1/2h and 1h. -After exposure for 12h and 24h, mitosis dropped to about 50%.
