Generalizations on the results of Cao and Zhang

Sujoy Majumder, Rajib Mandal (2022)

Mathematica Bohemica

We establish some uniqueness results for meromorphic functions when two nonlinear differential polynomials P ( f ) i = 1 k ( f ( i ) ) n i and P ( g ) i = 1 k ( g ( i ) ) n i share a nonzero polynomial with certain degree and our results improve and generalize some recent results in Y.-H. Cao, X.-B. Zhang (2012). Also we exhibit two examples to show that the conditions used in the results are sharp.

Generalized Cesàro operators on certain function spaces

Sunanda Naik (2010)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

Motivated by some recent results by Li and Stević, in this paper we prove that a two-parameter family of Cesàro averaging operators b , c is bounded on the Dirichlet spaces p , a . We also give a short and direct proof of boundedness of b , c on the Hardy space H p for 1 < p < ∞.

Generalized dimension compression under mappings of exponentially integrable distortion

Aleksandra Zapadinskaya (2011)

Open Mathematics

We prove a dimension compression estimate for homeomorphic mappings of exponentially integrable distortion via a modulus of continuity result by D. Herron and P. Koskela [Mappings of finite distortion: gauge dimension of generalized quasicircles, Illinois J. Math., 2003, 47(4), 1243–1259]. The essential sharpness of our estimate is demonstrated by an example.

Generalized Hilbert Operators on Bergman and Dirichlet Spaces of Analytic Functions

Sunanda Naik, Karabi Rajbangshi (2015)

Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Mathematics

Let f be an analytic function on the unit disk . We define a generalized Hilbert-type operator a , b by a , b ( f ) ( z ) = Γ ( a + 1 ) / Γ ( b + 1 ) 0 1 ( f ( t ) ( 1 - t ) b ) / ( ( 1 - t z ) a + 1 ) d t , where a and b are non-negative real numbers. In particular, for a = b = β, a , b becomes the generalized Hilbert operator β , and β = 0 gives the classical Hilbert operator . In this article, we find conditions on a and b such that a , b is bounded on Dirichlet-type spaces S p , 0 < p < 2, and on Bergman spaces A p , 2 < p < ∞. Also we find an upper bound for the norm of the operator a , b . These generalize...

Generalized interpolation in the unit ball.

Nicolas Marco (2001)

Publicacions Matemàtiques

We study a generalized interpolation problem for the space H∞(B2) of bounded homomorphic functions in the ball B2. A sequence Z = {zn} of B2 is an interpolating sequence of order 1 if for all sequence of values wn satisfying conditions of order 1 (that is discrete derivatives in the pseudohyperbolic metric are bounded) there exists a function f ∈ H∞(B2) such that f(zn) = wn. These sequences are characterized as unions of 3 free interpolating sequences for H∞(B2) such that all triplets of Z made...
