Banach algebra of the Fourier multipliers on weighted Banach function spaces

Alexei Karlovich (2015)

Concrete Operators

Let MX,w(ℝ) denote the algebra of the Fourier multipliers on a separable weighted Banach function space X(ℝ,w).We prove that if the Cauchy singular integral operator S is bounded on X(ℝ, w), thenMX,w(ℝ) is continuously embedded into L∞(ℝ). An important consequence of the continuous embedding MX,w(ℝ) ⊂ L∞(ℝ) is that MX,w(ℝ) is a Banach algebra.

Bilinear multipliers on Lorentz spaces

Francisco Villarroya (2008)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

We give one sufficient and two necessary conditions for boundedness between Lebesgue or Lorentz spaces of several classes of bilinear multiplier operators closely connected with the bilinear Hilbert transform.

Boundedness of Stein's square functions and Bochner-Riesz means associated to operators on Hardy spaces

Xuefang Yan (2015)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Let ( X , d , μ ) be a metric measure space endowed with a distance d and a nonnegative Borel doubling measure μ . Let L be a non-negative self-adjoint operator of order m on L 2 ( X ) . Assume that the semigroup e - t L generated by L satisfies the Davies-Gaffney estimate of order m and L satisfies the Plancherel type estimate. Let H L p ( X ) be the Hardy space associated with L . We show the boundedness of Stein’s square function 𝒢 δ ( L ) arising from Bochner-Riesz means associated to L from Hardy spaces H L p ( X ) to L p ( X ) , and also study the boundedness...

Characterizing translation invariant projections on Sobolev spaces on tori by the coset ring and Paley projections

M. Wojciechowski (1993)

Studia Mathematica

We characterize those anisotropic Sobolev spaces on tori in the L 1 and uniform norms for which the idempotent multipliers have a description in terms of the coset ring of the dual group. These results are deduced from more general theorems concerning invariant projections on vector-valued function spaces on tori. This paper is a continuation of the author’s earlier paper [W].

Construction de p-multiplicateurs

Francisco González Vieli (1993)

Studia Mathematica

Using characteristic functions of polyhedra, we construct radial p-multipliers which are continuous over n but not continuously differentiable through S n - 1 and give a p-multiplier criterion for homogeneous functions over 2 . We also exhibit fractal p-multipliers over the real line.

Colloquium Mathematicae

Let α i , β i > 0 , 1 ≤ i ≤ n, and for t > 0 and x = (x₁,...,xₙ) ∈ ℝⁿ, let t x = ( t α x , . . . , t α x ) , t x = ( t β x , . . . , t β x ) and | | x | | = i = 1 n | x i | 1 / α i . Let φ₁,...,φₙ be real functions in C ( - 0 ) such that φ = (φ₁,..., φₙ) satisfies φ(t • x) = t ∘ φ(x). Let γ > 0 and let μ be the Borel measure on 2 n given by μ ( E ) = χ E ( x , φ ( x ) ) | | x | | γ - α d x , where α = i = 1 n α i and dx denotes the Lebesgue measure on ℝⁿ. Let T μ f = μ f and let | | T μ | | p , q be the operator norm of T μ from L p ( 2 n ) into L q ( 2 n ) , where the L p spaces are taken with respect to the Lebesgue measure. The type set E μ is defined by E μ = ( 1 / p , 1 / q ) : | | T μ | | p , q < , 1 p , q . In the case α i β k for 1 ≤ i,k ≤ n we characterize the type set under...

Double Sequence Spaces Definedby a Sequence of Modulus Functions over n -normed Spaces

Sunil K. Sharma, Ayhan Esi (2014)

Acta Universitatis Palackianae Olomucensis. Facultas Rerum Naturalium. Mathematica

In the present paper we introduce some double sequence spaces defined by a sequence of modulus function F = ( f k , l ) over n -normed spaces. We also make an effort to study some topological properties and inclusion relations between these spaces.

Endpoint bounds of square functions associated with Hankel multipliers

Jongchon Kim (2015)

Studia Mathematica

We prove endpoint bounds for the square function associated with radial Fourier multipliers acting on L p radial functions. This is a consequence of endpoint bounds for a corresponding square function for Hankel multipliers. We obtain a sharp Marcinkiewicz-type multiplier theorem for multivariate Hankel multipliers and L p bounds of maximal operators generated by Hankel multipliers as corollaries. The proof is built on techniques developed by Garrigós and Seeger for characterizations of Hankel multipliers....
