Corrigendum to the paper “The universal Banach space with a K -suppression unconditional basis”

Taras O. Banakh, Joanna Garbulińska-Wegrzyn (2020)

Commentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae

We observe that the notion of an almost 𝔉ℑ K -universal based Banach space, introduced in our earlier paper [1]: Banakh T., Garbulińska-Wegrzyn J., The universal Banach space with a K -suppression unconditional basis, Comment. Math. Univ. Carolin. 59 (2018), no. 2, 195–206, is vacuous for K = 1 . Taking into account this discovery, we reformulate Theorem 5.2 from [1] in order to guarantee that the main results of [1] remain valid.

Density conditions in Fréchet and (DF)-spaces.

Klaus-Dieter. Bierstedt, José Bonet (1989)

Revista Matemática de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid

We survey our main results on the density condition for Fréchet spaces and on the dual density condition for (DF)-spaces (cf. Bierstedt and Bonet (1988)) as well as some recent developments.

Finite sums and products of commutators in inductive limit C * -algebras

Klaus Thomsen (1993)

Annales de l'institut Fourier

Results of T. Fack, P. de la Harpe and G. Skandalis concerning the internal structure of simple A F -algebras are extended to C * -algebras that are inductive limits of finite direct sums of homogeneous C * -algebras. The generalizations are obtained with slightly varying assumptions on the building blocks, but all results are applicable to unital simple inductive limits of finite direct sums of circle algebras.

Inductive limits of vector-valued sequence spaces.

José Bonet, Susanne Dierolf, Carmen Fernández (1989)

Publicacions Matemàtiques

Let L be a normal Banach sequence space such that every element in L is the limit of its sections and let E = ind En be a separated inductive limit of the locally convex spaces. Then ind L(En) is a topological subspace of L(E).

La categorie Abelienne des quotients de type F

Belmesnaoui Aqzzouz, R. Nouira (2007)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

We construct the category of quotients of -spaces and we show that it is Abelian. This answers a question of L. Waelbroeck from 1990.
