On generalized games in H -spaces

Paolo Cubiotti, Giorgio Nordo (1999)

Commentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae

We show that a recent existence result for the Nash equilibria of generalized games with strategy sets in H -spaces is false. We prove that it becomes true if we assume, in addition, that the feasible set of the game (the set of all feasible multistrategies) is closed.

On strongly preirresolute topological vector spaces

N. Rajesh, V. Vijayabharathi (2013)

Mathematica Bohemica

In the paper we obtain several characteristics of pre- T 2 of strongly preirresolute topological vector spaces and show that the extreme point of a convex subset of a strongly preirresolute topological vector space X lies on the boundary.

Radical ideals and coherent frames

Bernhard Banaschewski (1996)

Commentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae

It follows from Stone Duality that Hochster's results on the relation between spectral spaces and prime spectra of rings translate into analogous, formally stronger results concerning coherent frames and frames of radical ideals of rings. Here, we show that the latter can actually be obtained without Stone Duality, proving them in Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory and thereby sharpening the original results of Hochster.

Semi-quotient mappings and spaces

Moiz ud Din Khan, Rafaqat Noreen, Muhammad Siddique Bosan (2016)

Open Mathematics

In this paper, we continue the study of s-topological and irresolute-topological groups. We define semi-quotient mappings which are stronger than semi-continuous mappings, and then consider semi-quotient spaces and groups. It is proved that for some classes of irresolute-topological groups (G, *, τ) the semi-quotient space G/H is regular. Semi-isomorphisms of s-topological groups are also discussed.
