The boundary crossing theorem and the maximal stability interval.
Methods for robust controller design, are an invaluable tool in the hands of the control engineer. Several methodologies been developed over the years and have been successfully applied for the solution of specific robust design problems. One of these methods, is based on the Finite Inclusions Theorem (FIT) and exploits properties of polynomials. This has led to the development of FIT-based algorithms for robust stabilization, robust asymptotic tracking and robust noise attenuation design. In this...
This paper presents a new robust adaptive model predictive control for a special class of continuous-time non-linear systems with uncertainty. These systems have bounded disturbances with unknown upper bound, as well as constraints on input states. An adaptive control is used in the new controller to estimate the system uncertainty. Also, to avoid the system disturbances, a method is employed to find the appropriate gain in Tube-MPC. Finally, a surge avoidance problem in centrifugal compressors...
