On error estimates in the Weinstein-Bazley-Fox method

Abstract

In der Arbeit werden für das Weinstein-Bazley-Fox-Verfahren zur Bestimmung unterer Schranken für die Eigenwerte positiv definierter selbstadjungierter Operatoren Fehlerabschätzungen angegeben. Hierzu wird eine Verallgemeinerung des Rellichschen Prinzips der gleichmäßigen Konvergenz nicht notwendig beschränkter Operatoren verwendet. Es wird gezeigt, daßs mit dieser Verallgemeinerung auch Fehlerabschätzungen für die Eigenwertberechnung nach dem Ritzschen Verfahren erhalten werden können.
