Thin-walled curved bars with rigid closed section

In the case of bars with curved plan there exists an unseparable connection between logitudinal deformation and the bending in the plane of the bar and between the bending normal to the plane of the bar and the bounded torsion. In the paper the solution for both these cases is given together with a detailed discussion of boundary conditions for various types of bedding of the ends of the bar.
