We show that, consistently, for some regular cardinals θ <λ, there exists a Boolean algebra 𝔹 such that |𝔹| = λ⁺ and for every subalgebra 𝔹'⊆ 𝔹 of size λ⁺ we have Depth(𝔹') = θ.
