Abstract

We show that an infinite-dimensional complete linear space X has: ∙ a dense hereditarily Baire Hamel basis if |X| ≤ ⁺; ∙ a dense non-meager Hamel basis if | X | = κ ω = 2 κ for some cardinal κ.
