abstract = {Tadeusz Posament was born in 1905 in Lvov. After graduating from high school, he studied at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and graduated from the General Faculty of the Lvov Polytechnic in 1931 with a master's degree in mathematics. Mathe-matical supervisor of his diploma work was Kazimierz Kuratowski, who highly appreciated his mathematical skills. Soon, two publications appeared, discussing its scientific results. However, T. Posamenta did not have a place to work at the university. Before the Second World War he worked in high schools in Lvov and in Mława. At the beginning of the Ger-man occupation, like many teachers, he was arrested and placed in a concentration camp in Działdowo, late in Gusen. He died tragically in 1941 at the Castle of Hartheim near Linz (Austria).},
