On December 2--6, 2019, in Będlewo, the XLV Conference "Mathematical Statistics" was held, organized by the Banach Center of Institute of Mathematics Polish Academy of Science, the Committee on Statistics of the Committee of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Faculty of Applied Informatics and Mathematics, Warsaw University of Life Sciences. During the 20 sessions, a total of 46 lectures and two series of lectures on "Totally positive distributions: Markov structures, graphical models, and convex optimization" by Piotr Zwiernik (Uniwersytet Pompeu Fabra in Barcelonie) and "Introduction to mathematical theory of chemical reaction networks with applications in biosciences" by Grzegorz Rempała (Ohio State University).},
