Abstract

The paper deals with measures of statistical data, especially with medians, and quartiles. There exist many ways how to introduce lower and upper quartiles. The text introduces the reader to four of them – method including, excluding and methods using quantiles. This contribution can serve to orientation among various results which are supplied by calculators, Excel and statistical programmes.
