In this Note we report the observations made during the moult of the spider Phoneyusa lesserti Dresco 1971 (Mygalomorphae) from the Central African Republic. As a result of the above mentioned phenomenon we witnessed the regeneration of the missing legs.
The spider Phoneyusa lesserti Dresco 1971 (Mygalomorphae) from the Central African Republic, was reared at Pavia University (Northern Italy) for about two years, feeding on little vertebrates and insects. The A. observed the spinning of the spermatic web by the male, the copulation, the laying of the eggs, their opening and the first instars of the young. This is a first report on these observations.
