An experimental work has been carried out on an "inverse" model of a geological phenomenon, on the basis of a theory recently suggested. Results agree with the accepted theory on the genesis of rock-salt domes, but discrepancies occur between the measured duration and the one estimated by geologists for the phenomenon.
