In a Galois piane, S 2 , q , q ≡ 1 (mod 4), we study complete k -arcs different from an oval and containing ( q + 3 ) / 2 points of an irriducible conic. For q > 9 , we obtain two kinds of these arcs, having order ( q + 7 ) / 2 and ( q + 5 ) / 2 respectively; moreover, for q ≥ 9 , the value k = ( q + 7 ) / 2 is the largest order of the considered arcs.
