L'orientamento astronomico di Veronella Alta

An ancient settlement at Veronella Alta (Verona) has been examined with respect to the astronomical orientation. The principal axis of the construction (in form of an egg) is directed to the azimuth of the sunrise at the winter solstice. A possible geometric method for the construction of the plan of the settlement has been investigated.
