The sedimentary wedges of the Insubric Line near Dubino and in the upper S. Jorio valley have been studied in detail. They are the only ones having a clear stratigraphic sequence, that may be correlated with the Permian and Triassic rock series of the Orobic Alps. In the Dubino wedge the lower Permian has been ascertained: it occurs as tuffaceous sandstone of the type of the Collio formation. Within the upper S. Jorio valley profile the variegated siltstone unit appear to belong to the Servino formation...
