In this paper a problem of thermal deflection in a solid circular plane in the axisymmetric case is solved (On the base of Forray-Newmann method). In this case, the temperature is found to be a function of co-ordinate and time parameter .
Expressions for the thermal deflection of thin isotropic rectangular plates of varying thickness are obtained. The temperature is supposed to be non-steady but the time is treated as a parameter. Hence the deflections obtained are quasi-static. The result is obtained by solving the partial differential equation directly.
