Příspěvek shrnuje výsledky pokusného šetření provedeného na základních školách v květnu a červnu 2020. Cílem bylo zjistit, jak a zda žáci odlišují podobnost útvarů v běžném a matematickém smyslu, zda zvládají typové úlohy a jestli si poradí s problémy při výuce běžně neřešenými.
