Subordination and superordination of certain linear operator on meromorphic functions

M. Aouf, T. Seoudy (2010)

Annales UMCS, Mathematica

Similarity:

Using the methods of differential subordination and superordination, sufficient conditions are determined on the differential linear operator of meromorphic functions in the punctured unit disk to obtain, respectively, the best dominant and the best subordinant. New sandwich-type results are also obtained.

Analytic functions in the unit disc sharing values in a sector

Hong-Yan Xu, Ting-Bin Cao (2012)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

Similarity:

We deal with the uniqueness of analytic functions in the unit disc sharing four distinct values and obtain two theorems improving a previous result given by Mao and Liu (2009).

Real commutative algebra. III. Dedekind-Weber-Riemann manifolds.

D. W. Dubois, A. Bukowski (1980)

Revista Matemática Hispanoamericana

Similarity:

The space S of all non-trivial real places on a real function field K|k of trascendence degree one, endowed with a natural topology analogous to that of Dedekind and Weber's Riemann surface, is shown to be a one-dimensional k-analytic manifold, which is homeomorphic with every bounded non-singular real affine model of K|k. The ground field k is an arbitrary ordered, real-closed Cantor field (definition below). The function field K|k is thereby represented as a field of real mappings...
