Goodness-of-fit test for long range dependent processes

Gilles Fay, Anne Philippe (2010)

ESAIM: Probability and Statistics

Similarity:

In this paper, we make use of the information measure introduced by Mokkadem (1997) for building a goodness-of-fit test for long-range dependent processes. Our test statistic is performed in the frequency domain and writes as a non linear functional of the normalized periodogram. We establish the asymptotic distribution of our statistic under the null hypothesis. Under specific alternative hypotheses, we prove that the power converges to one. The performance of our test procedure is illustrated...

A Framework for Design-Time Testing of Service-Based Applications at BPEL Level

Ilieva, Sylvia, Pavlov, V., Manova, I., Manova, D. (2011)

Serdica Journal of Computing

Similarity:

Software applications created on top of the service-oriented architecture (SOA) are increasingly popular but testing them remains a challenge. In this paper a framework named TASSA for testing the functional and non-functional behaviour of service-based applications is presented. The paper focuses on the concept of design time testing, the corresponding testing approach and architectural integration of the consisting TASSA tools. The individual TASSA tools with sample validation scenarios...

Unit root test under innovation outlier contamination small sample case

Discussiones Mathematicae Probability and Statistics

Similarity:

The two sided unit root test of a first-order autoregressive model in the presence of an innovation outlier is considered. In this paper, we present three tests; two are usual and one is new. We give formulas computing the size and the power of the three tests when an innovation outlier (IO) occurs at a specified time, say k. Using a comparative study, we show that the new statistic performs better under contamination. A Small sample case is considered only.

The performance profile: A multi-criteria performance evaluation method for test-based problems

International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science

Similarity:

In test-based problems, solutions produced by search algorithms are typically assessed using average outcomes of interactions with multiple tests. This aggregation leads to information loss, which can render different solutions apparently indifferent and hinder comparison of search algorithms. In this paper we introduce the performance profile, a generic, domain-independent, multi-criteria performance evaluation method that mitigates this problem by characterizing the performance of...
