Prime Filters and Ideals in Distributive Lattices

Adam Grabowski (2013)

Formalized Mathematics

Similarity:

The article continues the formalization of the lattice theory (as structures with two binary operations, not in terms of ordering relations). In the Mizar Mathematical Library, there are some attempts to formalize prime ideals and filters; one series of articles written as decoding [9] proven some results; we tried however to follow [21], [12], and [13]. All three were devoted to the Stone representation theorem [18] for Boolean or Heyting lattices. The main aim of the present article...

α -ideals and annihilator ideals in 0-distributive lattices

Y. S. Pawar, S. S. Khopade (2010)

Acta Universitatis Palackianae Olomucensis. Facultas Rerum Naturalium. Mathematica

Similarity:

In a 0-distributive lattice sufficient conditions for an α -ideal to be an annihilator ideal and prime ideal to be an α -ideal are given. Also it is proved that the images and the inverse images of α -ideals are α -ideals under annihilator preserving homomorphisms.

Remarks on special ideals in lattices

The author studies some characteristic properties of semiprime ideals. The semiprimeness is also used to characterize distributive and modular lattices. Prime ideals are described as the meet-irreducible semiprime ideals. In relatively complemented lattices they are characterized as the maximal semiprime ideals. D -radicals of ideals are introduced and investigated. In particular, the prime radicals are determined by means of C ^ -radicals. In addition, a necessary and sufficient condition...
