Discussiones Mathematicae, Differential Inclusions, Control and Optimization

Similarity:

We investigate in the present paper, the existence and uniqueness of solutions for functional differential inclusions involving a subdifferential operator in the infinite dimensional setting. The perturbation which contains the delay is single-valued, separately measurable, and separately Lipschitz. We prove, without any compactness condition, that the problem has one and only one solution.

On time transformations for differential equations with state-dependent delay

Alexander Rezounenko (2014)

Open Mathematics

Similarity:

Systems of differential equations with state-dependent delay are considered. The delay dynamically depends on the state, i.e. is governed by an additional differential equation. By applying the time transformations we arrive to constant delay systems and compare the asymptotic properties of the original and transformed systems.

Resolvent of nonautonomous linear delay functional differential equations

Nonautonomous Dynamical Systems

Similarity:

The aim of this paper is to give a complete proof of the formula for the resolvent of a nonautonomous linear delay functional differential equations given in the book of Hale and Verduyn Lunel [9] under the assumption alone of the continuity of the right-hand side with respect to the time, when the notion of solution is a differentiable function at each point, which satisfies the equation at each point, and when the initial value is a continuous function.
