Relative tangent cone of analytic sets

Danuta Ciesielska (2012)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

Similarity:

We give a characterization of the relative tangent cone of an analytic curve and an analytic set with an improper isolated intersection. Moreover, we present an effective computation of the intersection multiplicity of a curve and a set with s-metrization.

Remarks on the generalized index of an analytic improper intersection

Krzysztof Jan Nowak (2003)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

Similarity:

This article continues the investigation of the analytic intersection algorithm from the perspective of deformation to the normal cone, carried out in the previous papers of the author [7, 8, 9]. The main theorem asserts that, given an analytic set V and a linear subspace S, every collection of hyperplanes, admissible with respect to an algebraic bicone B, realizes the generalized intersection index of V and S. This result is important because the conditions for a collection of hyperplanes...

Invariants of analytic curves.

Hans J. Zwiesler (1989)

Publicacions Matemàtiques

Similarity:

In this article we introduce a complete system of geometric invariants for an analytic curve. No restrictions are imposed on the curve and the invariants can be easily computed.

Analytic regularity for the Bergman kernel

Gabor Françis, Nicholas Hanges (1998)

Journées équations aux dérivées partielles

Similarity:

Let Ω 2 be a bounded, convex and open set with real analytic boundary. Let T Ω 2 be the tube with base Ω , and let be the Bergman kernel of T Ω . If Ω is strongly convex, then is analytic away from the boundary diagonal. In the weakly convex case this is no longer true. In this situation, we relate the off diagonal points where analyticity fails to the Trèves curves. These curves are symplectic invariants which are determined by the CR structure of the boundary of T Ω . Note that Trèves curves...

A note on Bézout's theorem

Sławomir Rams, Piotr Tworzewski, Tadeusz Winiarski (2005)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

Similarity:

We present a version of Bézout's theorem basing on the intersection theory in complex analytic geometry. Some applications for products of surfaces and curves are also given.
