Multiplier operators on product spaces

Hung Viet Le (2002)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

The author proves the boundedness for a class of multiplier operators on product spaces. This extends a result obtained by Lung-Kee Chen in 1994.

Disjoint hypercyclic operators

Luis Bernal-González (2007)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

We introduce the concept of disjoint hypercyclic operators. These are operators performing the approximation of any given vectors with a common subsequence of iterates applied on a common vector. The notion is extended to sequences of operators, and applied to composition operators and differential operators on spaces of analytic functions.

On (A,m)-expansive operators

Sungeun Jung, Yoenha Kim, Eungil Ko, Ji Eun Lee (2012)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

We give several conditions for (A,m)-expansive operators to have the single-valued extension property. We also provide some spectral properties of such operators. Moreover, we prove that the A-covariance of any (A,2)-expansive operator T ∈ ℒ(ℋ ) is positive, showing that there exists a reducing subspace ℳ on which T is (A,2)-isometric. In addition, we verify that Weyl's theorem holds for an operator T ∈ ℒ(ℋ ) provided that T is (T*T,2)-expansive. We next study (A,m)-isometric operators...

Compact operators between K- and J-spaces

Fernando Cobos, Luz M. Fernández-Cabrera, Antón Martínez (2005)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

The paper establishes necessary and sufficient conditions for compactness of operators acting between general K-spaces, general J-spaces and operators acting from a J-space into a K-space. Applications to interpolation of compact operators are also given.

Intertwining Multiplication Operators on Function Spaces

Bahman Yousefi, Leila Bagheri (2006)

Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Mathematics

Similarity:

Suppose that X is a Banach space of analytic functions on a plane domain Ω. We characterize the operators T that intertwine with the multiplication operators acting on X.

Boundedness of commutators of singular and potential operators in generalized grand Morrey spaces and some applications

Vakhtang Kokilashvili, Alexander Meskhi, Humberto Rafeiro (2013)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

In the setting of spaces of homogeneous type, it is shown that the commutator of Calderón-Zygmund type operators as well as the commutator of a potential operator with a BMO function are bounded in a generalized grand Morrey space. Interior estimates for solutions of elliptic equations are also given in the framework of generalized grand Morrey spaces.

On λ-commuting operators

John B. Conway, Gabriel Prǎjiturǎ (2005)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

For a scalar λ, two operators T and S are said to λ-commute if TS = λST. In this note we explore the pervasiveness of the operators that λ-commute with a compact operator by characterizing the closure and the interior of the set of operators with this property.
