Calderón-type reproducing formula and the Tb theorem.

Yong Sheng Han (1994)

Revista Matemática Iberoamericana

Similarity:

In this paper we use the Calderón-Zygmund operator theory to prove a Calderón type reproducing formula associated with a para-accretive function. Using our Calderón-type reproducing formula we introduce a new class of the Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces and prove a Tb theorem for these new spaces.

A proof of the weak (1,1) inequality for singular integrals with non doubling measures based on a Calderón-Zygmund decomposition.

Publicacions Matemàtiques

Similarity:

Given a doubling measure μ on R, it is a classical result of harmonic analysis that Calderón-Zygmund operators which are bounded in L(μ) are also of weak type (1,1). Recently it has been shown that the same result holds if one substitutes the doubling condition on μ by a mild growth condition on μ. In this paper another proof of this result is given. The proof is very close in spirit to the classical argument for doubling measures and it is based on a new Calderón-Zygmund decomposition...

A weak molecule condition for certain Triebel-Lizorkin spaces

Steve Hofmann (1992)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

A weak molecule condition is given for the Triebel-Lizorkin spaces Ḟ_p^{α,q}, with 0 < α < 1 and 1 < p, q < ∞. As an easy corollary, one may deduce, by atomic-molecular methods, a Triebel-Lizorkin space "T1" Theorem of Han and Sawyer, and Han, Jawerth, Taibleson and Weiss, for Calderón-Zygmund kernels K(x,y) which are not assumed to satisfy any regularity condition in the y variable.

Variants of the Calderón-Zygmund theory for L-spaces.

Similarity:

The purposes of this paper may be described as follows: (i) to provide a useful substitute for the Cotlar-Stein lemma for Lp-spaces (the orthogonality conditions are replaced by certain fairly weak smoothness asumptions); (ii) to investigate the gap between the Hörmander multiplier theorem and the Littman-McCarthy-Rivière example - just how little regularity is really needed? (iii) to simplify and extend the work of Duoandikoetxea...

Weak type estimates for operators of potential type

Richard Wheeden, Shiying Zhao (1996)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

We derive two-weight weak type estimates for operators of potential type in homogeneous spaces. The conditions imposed on the weights are testing conditions of the kind first studied by E. T. Sawyer [4]. We also give some applications to strong type estimates as well as to operators on half-spaces.
