Coefficient bounds for some subclasses of p-valently starlike functions

C. Selvaraj, O. S. Babu, G. Murugusundaramoorthy (2013)

Annales UMCS, Mathematica

Similarity:

For functions of the form f(z) = zp + ∑∞n=1 ap+n zp+n we obtain sharp bounds for some coefficients functionals in certain subclasses of starlike functions. Certain applications of our main results are also given. In particular, Fekete-Szegö-like inequality for classes of functions defined through extended fractional differintegrals are obtained

Strongly gamma-starlike functions of order alpha

Mamoru Nunokawa, Janusz Sokół (2013)

Annales UMCS, Mathematica

Similarity:

In this work we consider the class of analytic functions G(α, γ), which is a subset of gamma-starlike functions introduced by Lewandowski, Miller and Złotkiewicz in Gamma starlike functions, Ann. Univ. Mariae Curie- Skłodowska, Sect. A 28 (1974), 53-58. We discuss the order of strongly starlikeness and the order of strongly convexity in this subclass.

Starlikeness of functions satisfying a differential inequality

Rosihan M. Ali, S. Ponnusamy, Vikramaditya Singh (1995)

Annales Polonici Mathematici

Similarity:

In a recent paper Fournier and Ruscheweyh established a theorem related to a certain functional. We extend their result differently, and then use it to obtain a precise upper bound on α so that for f analytic in |z| < 1, f(0) = f'(0) - 1 = 0 and satisfying Re{zf''(z)} > -λ, the function f is starlike.

An Application of the Subordination Chains

Irina Oros, Georgia (2010)

Fractional Calculus and Applied Analysis

Similarity:

MSC 2010: 30C45, 30A20, 34A30 The notion of differential superordination was introduced in [4] by S.S. Miller and P.T. Mocanu as a dual concept of differential subordination [3] and was developed in [5]. The notion of strong differential subordination was introduced by J.A. Antonino and S. Romaguera in [1]. In [6] the author introduced the dual concept of strong differential superordination. In this paper we study strong differential superordination using the subordination chains. ...
