Oscillation for advanced differential equations with oscillating coefficients.

We establish Hartman-Wintner type criteria for the half-linear second order differential equation ${(r (t) Φ (x^{'}))}^{'} + c (t) Φ (x) = 0, Φ (x) = {| x |}^{p - 2} x, p > 1,$ where this equation is viewed as a perturbation of another equation of the same form.

New oscillation criteria are obtained for all solutions of a class of first order nonlinear delay differential equations. Our results extend and improve the results recently obtained by Li and Kuang [7]. Some examples are given to demonstrate the advantage of our results over those in [7].
