abstract = {Fundamentals of general algebra, also known as universal (universal algebra) appeared already in the nineteenth century. The article uses the term algebra general, a term disseminate Edward Marczewski. The subject matter of general algebra, on the initiative and under the direction of Edward Marczewski, she was very active in Wroclaw in the sixties of the twentieth century, mainly at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Wroclaw. In good taste was then attend the seminar MM (Marczewski-Mycielski) and have some contributions to this theory, even not necessarily deep. Most prominent mathematicians in Wroclaw was the results in this field.},
