abstract = {In this work, we present the results of our study over the expected lifetime of the patients diagnosed with relapsed squamous cell lung cancer, which is a subtype of non-small cell lung cancer, treated by cis-platinum. We developed the mathematical model consist of cells sensitive and resistant to cis-platinum. The performed simulations suggest that the best strategy to prolong the patient lifetime after diagnosis is to keep the sensitive cells subpopulation at the constant level instead of killing all of them.},
