Abstract

Following compounds have been prepared: ZrInNi2, HfInNi2, TiInCu2, HfInCu2, ZrAlAu2, TiAlPd2, ZrAlPd2, HfAlPd2, TiInPd2, ZrInPd2 and HfInPd2. They were found to be of the CsCl or of the AlCu2Mn types. Geometrical characteristics of all known CsCl and AlCu2Mn type ternary compounds are summarised and briefly discussed.
