Sur l'approximation de Born-Oppenheimer des opérateurs d'onde
Upper semi-Fredholm operators and tauberian operators in Banach spaces admit the following perturbative characterizations [6], [2]: An operator T: X --> Y is upper semi-Fredholm (tauberian) if and only if for every compact operator K: X --> Y the kernel N(T+K) is finite dimensional (reflexive). In [7] Tacon introduces an intermediate class between upper semi-Fredholm operators and tauberian operators, the supertauberian operators, and he studies this class using non-standard analysis....
We give some optimal estimates of the height, curvature and volume of compact hypersurfaces in with constant curvature bounding a planar closed (n-1)-submanifold.
This article deals with K- and J-spaces defined by means of polygons. First we establish some reiteration formulae involving the real method, and then we study the behaviour of weakly compact operators. We also show optimality of the weak compactness results.
Typical monocular localization schemes involve a search for matches between reprojected 3D world points and 2D image features in order to estimate the absolute scale transformation between the camera and the world. Successfully calculating such transformation implies the existence of a good number of 3D points uniformly distributed as reprojected pixels around the image plane. This paper presents a method to control the march of a humanoid robot towards directions that are favorable for visual based...
Let be a continuum and a positive integer. Let be the hyperspace of all nonempty closed subsets of with at most components, endowed with the Hausdorff metric. For compact subset of , define the hyperspace . In this paper, we consider the hyperspace , which can be a tool to study the space . We study this hyperspace in the class of finite graphs and in general, we prove some properties such as: aposyndesis, local connectedness, arcwise disconnectedness, and contractibility.
