We find the norm of the Hardy operator minus the identity acting on the cone of radially decreasing functions on minimal Lorentz spaces (restricted type estimates).
We show that the transference method of Coifman and Weiss can be extended to Hardy and Sobolev spaces. As an application we obtain the de Leeuw restriction theorems for multipliers.
We characterize geometric properties of a family of approach regions by means of analytic properties of the class of weights related to the boundedness of the maximal operator associated with this family.
