A hereditarily normal strongly zero-dimensional space containing subspaces of arbitrary large dimension
We give a proof of a theorem of Maćkowiak on the existence of universal n-dimensional hereditarily indecomposable continua, based on the Baire-category method.
The main goal of this paper is to construct, for every n,m ∈ ℕ, a hereditarily indecomposable continuum of dimension m which has exactly n autohomeomorphisms.
