Estimates for singular integrals and extrapolation

Shuichi Sato (2009)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

We study singular integrals with rough kernels, which belong to a class of singular Radon transforms. We prove certain estimates for the singular integrals that are useful in an extrapolation argument. As an application, we prove L p boundedness of the singular integrals under a certain sharp size condition on their kernels.

Integrals of Frullani type and the method of brackets

Sergio Bravo, Ivan Gonzalez, Karen Kohl, Victor H. Moll (2017)

Open Mathematics

Similarity:

The method of brackets is a collection of heuristic rules, some of which have being made rigorous, that provide a flexible, direct method for the evaluation of definite integrals. The present work uses this method to establish classical formulas due to Frullani which provide values of a specific family of integrals. Some generalizations are established.

An exact functional Radon-Nikodym theorem for Daniell integrals

E. de Amo, I. Chitescu, M. Díaz Carrillo (2001)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

Given two positive Daniell integrals I and J, with J absolutely continuous with respect to I, we find sufficient conditions in order to obtain an exact Radon-Nikodym derivative f of J with respect to I. The procedure of obtaining f is constructive.
