Tietze extension theorem for pairwise ordered fuzzy extremally disconnected spaces

Mallasamudram Kuppusamy Uma, Elango Roja, Ganesan Balasubramanian (2008)

Mathematica Bohemica

Similarity:

In this paper a new class of fuzzy topological spaces called pairwise ordered fuzzy extremally disconnected spaces is introduced. Tietze extension theorem for pairwise ordered fuzzy extremally disconnected spaces has been discussed as in the paper of Kubiak (1987) besides proving several other propositions and lemmas.

On completeness and direction in fuzzy relational systems.

Pedro J. Burillo López, Ramón Fuentes-González, León A. González Sotos (1998)

Mathware and Soft Computing

Similarity:

The concepts of bounded subset, complete subset and directed subset, wich are well known in the context of partially ordered sets (X,≤), are extended in order to become appliable, with coherence, in fuzzy relational systems (X,R). The properties of these generalized structures are analyzed and operative exemples of them are presented.

Fuzzy numbers, definitions and properties.

Miguel Delgado, José Luis Verdegay, M. Amparo Vila (1994)

Mathware and Soft Computing

Similarity:

Two different definitions of a Fuzzy number may be found in the literature. Both fulfill Goguen's Fuzzification Principle but are different in nature because of their different starting points. The first one was introduced by Zadeh and has well suited arithmetic and algebraic properties. The second one, introduced by Gantner, Steinlage and Warren, is a good and formal representation of the concept from a topological point of view. The objective of this paper is...

Equivalent fuzzy sets

Branimir Šešelja, Andreja Tepavčević (2005)

Kybernetika

Similarity:

Necessary and sufficient conditions under which two fuzzy sets (in the most general, poset valued setting) with the same domain have equal families of cut sets are given. The corresponding equivalence relation on the related fuzzy power set is investigated. Relationship of poset valued fuzzy sets and fuzzy sets for which the co-domain is Dedekind-MacNeille completion of that posets is deduced.

Fixed points of fuzzy monotone maps

Ismat Beg (1999)

Archivum Mathematicum

Similarity:

The existence of fixed points for monotone maps on the fuzzy ordered sets under suitable conditions is proved.
