In this paper we mainly prove weighted Poincaré inequalities for vector fields satisfying Hörmander's condition. In questo articolo vengono date alcune varianti del teorema di immersione di Sobolev in spazi di Lorentz. In particolare si dimostra un teorema di immersione per spazi di Sobolev anisotropi supponendo che le derivate parziali appartengono a spazi di Lorentz diversi, anche nel caso limite, corrispondente all’estensione di Brezis-Wainger del teorema di Trudinger per W 1 , N ( ℝ N ) .

Hölder quasicontinuity of Sobolev functions on metric spaces.

We prove that every Sobolev function defined on a metric space coincides with a Hölder continuous function outside a set of small Hausdorff content or capacity. Moreover, the Hölder continuous function can be chosen so that it approximates the given function in the Sobolev norm. This is a generalization of a result of Malý [Ma1] to the Sobolev spaces on metric spaces [H1].
