Asymptotics of potentials in the edge calculus

D. Kapanadze, B.-W Schulze (2006)

Bollettino dell'Unione Matematica Italiana

Similarity:

Boundary value problems on manifolds with conical singularities or edges contain potential operators as well as trace and Green operators which play a similar role as the corresponding operators in (pseudo-differential) boundary value problems on a smooth manifold. There is then a specific asymptotic behaviour of these operators close to the singularities. We characterise potential operators in terms of actions of cone or edge pseudo-differential operators (in the neighbouring space)...

Weak Asymptotics for Schrödinger Evolution

S. A. Denisov (2010)

Mathematical Modelling of Natural Phenomena

Similarity:

In this short note, we apply the technique developed in [Math. Model. Nat. Phenom., 5 (2010), No. 4, 122-149] to study the long-time evolution for Schrödinger equation with slowly decaying potential.

Pseudo shift operators with large images

M. C. Calderón-Moreno (2002)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We give suitable conditions for the existence of many holomorphic functions f on a disc such that the image of any nonempty open subset under the action of pseudo shift operators on f is arbitrarily large. This generalizes an earlier result about images of derivatives and completes another one on infinite order differential operators.
