Sublattices corresponding to very true operators in commutative basic algebras

Ivan Chajda, Filip Švrček (2014)

Discussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications

Similarity:

We introduce the concept of very true operator on a commutative basic algebra in a way analogous to that for fuzzy logics. We are motivated by the fact that commutative basic algebras form an algebraic axiomatization of certain non-associative fuzzy logics. We prove that every such operator is fully determined by a certain relatively complete sublattice provided its idempotency is assumed.

Domination of operators in the non-commutative setting

Timur Oikhberg, Eugeniu Spinu (2013)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

We consider majorization problems in the non-commutative setting. More specifically, suppose E and F are ordered normed spaces (not necessarily lattices), and 0 ≤ T ≤ S in B(E,F). If S belongs to a certain ideal (for instance, the ideal of compact or Dunford-Pettis operators), does it follow that T belongs to that ideal as well? We concentrate on the case when E and F are C*-algebras, preduals of von Neumann algebras, or non-commutative function spaces. In particular, we show that, for...

Superior subalgebras and ideals of BCK/BCI-algebras

Young Bae Jun, Seok Zun Song (2016)

Discussiones Mathematicae General Algebra and Applications

Similarity:

The notions of superior subalgebras and (commutative) superior ideals are introduced, and their relations and related properties are investigated. Conditions for a superior ideal to be commutative are provided.

BCI-algebras with Condition (S) and their Properties

Tao Sun, Junjie Zhao, Xiquan Liang (2008)

Formalized Mathematics

Similarity:

In this article we will first investigate the elementary properties of BCI-algebras with condition (S), see [8]. And then we will discuss the three classes of algebras: commutative, positive-implicative and implicative BCK-algebras with condition (S).MML identifier: BCIALG 4, version: 7.8.09 4.97.1001

Complex Fuzzy Sets with Application in BCK/BCI-Algebras

Young Bae Jun, Xiao Long Xin (2019)

Bulletin of the Section of Logic

Similarity:

As a generation of fuzzy set, the notion of complex fuzzy set which is an innovative concept is introduced by Ramot, Milo, Friedman and Kandel. The purpose of this article is to apply complex fuzzy set to BCK/BCI-algebras. The notions of a complex subalgebra and a complex left (right) reduced ideal in a BCK/BCI- algebra are introduced, and related properties are investigated. Characterizations of a complex subalgebra are provided, and the homomorphic image (preimage) of a complex subalgebra...

Ideals of BCI-algebras and their Properties

Chenglong Wu, Yuzhong Ding (2008)

Formalized Mathematics

Similarity:

In this article three classes of ideals are discussed: associative ideals, commutative ideals, implicative ideals and positive implicative ideals, and their elementary properties. Some of their properties and the relationships between them have not been proven yet, and will be completed in the following article.MML identifier: BCIIDEAL, version: 7.8.10 4.99.1005
