Linearization by completely generalized input-output injection

Similarity:

The problem addressed in this paper is the linearization of nonlinear systems by generalized input-output (I/O) injection. The I/O injection (called completely generalized I/O injection) depends on a finite number of time derivatives of input and output functions. The practical goal is the observer synthesis with linear error dynamics. The method is based on the I/O differential equation structure. Thus, the problem is solved as a realization one. A necessary and sufficient condition...

On the regulator problem for a class of LTI systems with delays

This paper deals with the problem of tracking a reference signal while maintaining the stability of the closed loop system for linear time invariant systems with delays in the states. We show that conditions for the existence of a solution to this problem (the so-called regulation problem), similar to those known for the case of delay-free linear systems, may be given. We propose a solution for both the state and error feedback regulation.

This paper mainly deals with the design of an advanced control law with an observer for a special class of nonlinear systems. We design an observer with a gain as a function of speed. We study the solution to the output feedback torque and rotor flux-tracking problem for an induction motor model given in the natural frame. We propose a new robust nonlinear observer and prove the global stability of the interlaced controller-observer system. The control algorithm is studied through simulations...

State estimation for a class of nonlinear systems

We propose a new type of Proportional Integral (PI) state observer for a class of nonlinear systems in continuous time which ensures an asymptotic stable convergence of the state estimates. Approximations of nonlinearity are not necessary to obtain such results, but the functions must be, at least locally, of the Lipschitz type. The obtained state variables are exact and robust against noise. Naslin's damping criterion permits synthesizing gains in an algebraically simple and efficient...

Structurally stable design of output regulation for a class of nonlinear systems

The problem of output regulation of the systems affected by unknown constant parameters is considered here. The main goal is to find a unique feedback compensator (independent on the actual values of unknown parameters) that drives a given error (control criterion) asymptotically to zero for all values of parameters from a certain neighbourhood of their nominal value. Such a task is usually referred to as the structurally stable output regulation problem. Under certain assumptions, such...
