Abstract

We complement the geometric interpretation started in [P2]1991:726;1401792m:11061 for local heights and projective distances defined in [P1]88h11048. We show how this leads to a size (as defined in [P3])) on coordinate rings of projective varieties. We also define house and size for extensions of finite type of Q .
