The addition of fuzzy intervals based on a triangular norm T is studied. It is shown that the addition based on a t-norm T weaker than the Lukasiewicz t-norm T acts on linear fuzzy intervals just as the T-based addition. Some examples are given.
Standard Möbius transform evaluation formula for the Choquet integral is associated with the -aggregation. However, several other aggregation operators replacing operator can be applied, which leads to a new construction method for aggregation operators. All binary operators applicable in this approach are characterized by the 1-Lipschitz property. Among ternary aggregation operators all 3-copulas are shown to be fitting and moreover, all fitting weighted means are characterized. This new method...
In the paper, binary 1-Lipschitz aggregation operators and specially quasi-copulas are studied. The characterization of 1-Lipschitz aggregation operators as solutions to a functional equation similar to the Frank functional equation is recalled, and moreover, the importance of quasi-copulas and dual quasi-copulas for describing the structure of 1-Lipschitz aggregation operators with neutral element or annihilator is shown. Also a characterization of quasi-copulas as solutions to a certain functional...
In the paper the entropy of – fuzzy numbers is studied. It is shown that for a given norm function, the computation of the entropy of – fuzzy numbers reduces to using a simple formula which depends only on the spreads and shape functions of incoming numbers. In detail the entropy of –sums and –products of – fuzzy numbers is investigated. It is shown that the resulting entropy can be computed only by means of the entropy of incoming fuzzy numbers or by means of their parameters without the...
The associativity of -dimensional copulas in the sense of Post is studied. These copulas are shown to be just -ary extensions of associative 2-dimensional copulas with special constraints, thus they solve an open problem of R. Mesiar posed during the International Conference FSTA 2010 in Liptovský Ján, Slovakia.
Smallest and greatest -Lipschitz aggregation operators with given diagonal section, opposite diagonal section, and with graphs passing through a single point of the unit cube, respectively, are determined. These results are used to find smallest and greatest copulas and quasi-copulas with these properties (provided they exist).
In this paper we study the set of copulas for which both a horizontal section and a vertical section have been given. We give a general construction for copulas of this type and we provide the lower and upper copulas with these sections. Symmetric copulas with given horizontal section are also discussed, as well as copulas defined on a grid of the unit square. Several examples are presented.
