Koszul and quasi-Koszul algebras obtained by tilting

R. M. Aquino, E. L. Green, E. N. Marcos (2002)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

Given a finite-dimensional algebra, we present sufficient conditions on the projective presentation of the algebra modulo its radical for a tilted algebra to be a Koszul algebra and for the endomorphism ring of a tilting module to be a quasi-Koszul algebra. One condition we impose is that the algebra has global dimension no greater than 2. One of the main techniques is studying maps between the direct summands of the tilting module. Some applications are given. We also show that a Brenner-Butler...

Embedding of dendriform algebras into Rota-Baxter algebras

Similarity:

Following a recent work [Bai C., Bellier O., Guo L., Ni X., Splitting of operations, Manin products, and Rota-Baxter operators, Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN (in press), DOI: 10.1093/imrn/rnr266] we define what is a dendriform dior trialgebra corresponding to an arbitrary variety Var of binary algebras (associative, commutative, Poisson, etc.). We call such algebras di- or tri-Var-dendriform algebras, respectively. We prove in general that the operad governing the variety of di- or tri-Var-dendriform...

Abelian differential modes are quasi-affine

David Stanovský (2012)

Commentationes Mathematicae Universitatis Carolinae

Similarity:

We study a class of strongly solvable modes, called differential modes. We characterize abelian algebras in this class and prove that all of them are quasi-affine, i.e., they are subreducts of modules over commutative rings.
