Classifying bicrossed products of two Sweedler's Hopf algebras

Costel-Gabriel Bontea (2014)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Similarity:

We continue the study started recently by Agore, Bontea and Militaru in “Classifying bicrossed products of Hopf algebras” (2014), by describing and classifying all Hopf algebras E that factorize through two Sweedler’s Hopf algebras. Equivalently, we classify all bicrossed products H 4 H 4 . There are three steps in our approach. First, we explicitly describe the set of all matched pairs ( H 4 , H 4 , , ) by proving that, with the exception of the trivial pair, this set is parameterized by the ground field...

Cobraided smash product Hom-Hopf algebras

Tianshui Ma, Haiying Li, Tao Yang (2014)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

Let (A,α) and (B,β) be two Hom-Hopf algebras. We construct a new class of Hom-Hopf algebras: R-smash products ( A R B , α β ) . Moreover, necessary and sufficient conditions for ( A R B , α β ) to be a cobraided Hom-Hopf algebra are given.

Lazy 2-cocycles over monoidal Hom-Hopf algebras

Xiaofan Zhao, Xiaohui Zhang (2016)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We introduce the notion of a lazy 2-cocycle over a monoidal Hom-Hopf algebra and determine all lazy 2-cocycles for a class of monoidal Hom-Hopf algebras. We also study the extension of lazy 2-cocycles to a Radford Hom-biproduct.

Hopf algebras and dendriform structures arising from parking functions

Jean-Christophe Novelli, Jean-Yves Thibon (2007)

Fundamenta Mathematicae

Similarity:

We introduce a graded Hopf algebra based on the set of parking functions (hence of dimension ( n + 1 ) n - 1 in degree n). This algebra can be embedded into a noncommutative polynomial algebra in infinitely many variables. We determine its structure, and show that it admits natural quotients and subalgebras whose graded components have dimensions respectively given by the Schröder numbers (plane trees), the Catalan numbers, and powers of 3. These smaller algebras are always bialgebras and belong to...

Parametric representations of BiHom-Hopf algebras

Xiaohui Zhang, Wei Wang, Juzhen Chen (2024)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Similarity:

The main purpose of the present paper is to study representations of BiHom-Hopf algebras. We first introduce the notion of BiHom-Hopf algebras, and then discuss BiHom-type modules, Yetter-Dinfeld modules and Drinfeld doubles with parameters. We get some new n -monoidal categories via the category of BiHom-(co)modules and the category of BiHom-Yetter-Drinfeld modules. Finally, we obtain a center construction type theorem on BiHom-Hopf algebras.

A construction of the Hom-Yetter-Drinfeld category

Haiying Li, Tianshui Ma (2014)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

In continuation of our recent work about smash product Hom-Hopf algebras [Colloq. Math. 134 (2014)], we introduce the Hom-Yetter-Drinfeld category H H via the Radford biproduct Hom-Hopf algebra, and prove that Hom-Yetter-Drinfeld modules can provide solutions of the Hom-Yang-Baxter equation and H H is a pre-braided tensor category, where (H,β,S) is a Hom-Hopf algebra. Furthermore, we show that ( A H , α β ) is a Radford biproduct Hom-Hopf algebra if and only if (A,α) is a Hom-Hopf algebra in the category...

The strong Morita equivalence for coactions of a finite-dimensional C*-Hopf algebra on unital C*-algebras

Kazunori Kodaka, Tamotsu Teruya (2015)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

Following Jansen and Waldmann, and Kajiwara and Watatani, we introduce notions of coactions of a finite-dimensional C*-Hopf algebra on a Hilbert C*-bimodule of finite type in the sense of Kajiwara and Watatani and define their crossed product. We investigate their basic properties and show that the strong Morita equivalence for coactions preserves the Rokhlin property for coactions of a finite-dimensional C*-Hopf algebra on unital C*-algebras.

Schwartz kernel theorem in algebras of generalized functions

Vincent Valmorin (2010)

Banach Center Publications

Similarity:

A new approach to the generalization of Schwartz’s kernel theorem to Colombeau algebras of generalized functions is given. It is based on linear maps from algebras of classical functions to algebras of generalized ones. In particular, this approach enables one to give a meaning to certain hypotheses in preceding similar work on this theorem. Results based on the properties of G -generalized functions class are given. A straightforward relationship between the classical and the generalized...

Actions of Hopf algebras on pro-semisimple noetherian algebras and their invariants

Andrzej Tyc (2001)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

Let H be a Hopf algebra over a field k such that every finite-dimensional (left) H-module is semisimple. We give a counterpart of the first fundamental theorem of the classical invariant theory for locally finite, finitely generated (commutative) H-module algebras, and for local, complete H-module algebras. Also, we prove that if H acts on the k-algebra A = k[[X₁,...,Xₙ]] in such a way that the unique maximal ideal in A is invariant, then the algebra of invariants A H is a noetherian Cohen-Macaulay...

Smash (co)products and skew pairings.

José N. Alonso Alvarez, José Manuel Fernández Vilaboa, Ramón González Rodríguez (2001)

Publicacions Matemàtiques

Similarity:

Let τ be an invertible skew pairing on (B,H) where B and H are Hopf algebras in a symmetric monoidal category C with (co)equalizers. Assume that H is quasitriangular. Then we obtain a new algebra structure such that B is a Hopf algebra in the braided category γD and there exists a Hopf algebra isomorphism w: B ∞ H → B [×] H in C, where B ∞ H is a Hopf algebra with (co)algebra structure the smash (co)product and B [×] H is the Hopf algebra defined by Doi and Takeuchi. ...

Derived equivalences between generalized matrix algebras

QingHua Chen, HongJin Liu (2020)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Similarity:

We construct derived equivalences between generalized matrix algebras. We record several corollaries. In particular, we show that the n -replicated algebras of two derived equivalent, finite-dimensional algebras are also derived equivalent.

On a Construction of ModularGMS-algebras

Abd El-Mohsen Badawy (2015)

Acta Universitatis Palackianae Olomucensis. Facultas Rerum Naturalium. Mathematica

Similarity:

In this paper we investigate the class of all modular GMS-algebras which contains the class of MS-algebras. We construct modular GMS-algebras from the variety 𝐊 ̲ 2 by means of K ̲ 2 -quadruples. We also characterize isomorphisms of these algebras by means of K ̲ 2 -quadruples.
