Brézis-Gallouët-Wainger type inequality for Besov-Morrey spaces

Yoshihiro Sawano (2010)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

The aim of the present paper is to obtain an inequality of Brézis-Gallouët-Wainger type for Besov-Morrey spaces. We investigate these spaces in a self-contained manner. Also, we verify that our result is sharp.

Compactness conditions for elementary operators

Matej Brešar, Yuri V. Turovskii (2007)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

Various topics concerning compact elementary operators on Banach algebras are studied: their ranges, their coefficients, and the structure of algebras having nontrivial compact elementary operators. In the first part of the paper we consider separately elementary operators of certain simple types. In the second part we obtain our main results which deal with general elementary operators.

Sequence spaces with exponent weights. Realizations of Colombeau type algebras

Antoine Delcroix, Maximilian F. Hasler, Stevan Pilipović, Vincent Valmorin

Similarity:

We give a description of various algebras of generalized functions based on the introduction of pseudo-ultranorms on spaces of sequences in given locally convex function algebras. We study sheaf properties of these algebras, needed for microlocal analysis, and also consider regularity theory, functoriality and different concepts of association and weak equality in a unified setting. Using this approach, we also give new results on embeddings of ultradistribution and hyperfunction spaces...

On the regularity of bilinear maximal operator

Feng Liu, Guoru Wang (2023)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Similarity:

We study the regularity properties of bilinear maximal operator. Some new bounds and continuity for the above operators are established on the Sobolev spaces, Triebel-Lizorkin spaces and Besov spaces. In addition, the quasicontinuity and approximate differentiability of the bilinear maximal function are also obtained.

Bounded elements in certain topological partial *-algebras

Jean-Pierre Antoine, Camillo Trapani, Francesco Tschinke (2011)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

We continue our study of topological partial *-algebras, focusing on the interplay between various partial multiplications. The special case of partial *-algebras of operators is examined first, in particular the link between strong and weak multiplications, on one hand, and invariant positive sesquilinear (ips) forms, on the other. Then the analysis is extended to abstract topological partial *-algebras, emphasizing the crucial role played by appropriate bounded elements, called ℳ-bounded....

Function algebras of Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin-type

Fares Bensaid, Madani Moussai (2023)

Czechoslovak Mathematical Journal

Similarity:

We prove that in the homogeneous Besov-type space the set of bounded functions constitutes a unital quasi-Banach algebra for the pointwise product. The same result holds for the homogeneous Triebel-Lizorkin-type space.

A review on δ-structurable algebras

Noriaki Kamiya, Daniel Mondoc, Susumu Okubo (2011)

Banach Center Publications

Similarity:

In this paper we give a review on δ-structurable algebras. A connection between Malcev algebras and a generalization of δ-structurable algebras is also given.

Approximate weak amenability, derivations and Arens regularity of Segal algebras

Fereidoun Ghahramani, Anthony To-Ming Lau (2005)

Studia Mathematica

Similarity:

We continue our study of derivations, multipliers, weak amenability and Arens regularity of Segal algebras on locally compact groups. We also answer two questions on Arens regularity of the Lebesgue-Fourier algebra left open in our earlier work.

On selfinjective algebras of tilted type

Andrzej Skowroński, Kunio Yamagata (2015)

Colloquium Mathematicae

Similarity:

We provide a characterization of all finite-dimensional selfinjective algebras over a field K which are socle equivalent to a prominent class of selfinjective algebras of tilted type.
