Some possibly degenerate elliptic problems with measure data and non linearity on the boundary

Annales de la faculté des sciences de Toulouse Mathématiques

Similarity:

The goal of this paper is to study some possibly degenerate elliptic equation in a bounded domain with a nonlinear boundary condition involving measure data. We investigate two types of problems: the first one deals with the laplacian in a bounded domain with measure supported on the domain and on the boundary. A second one deals with the same type of data but involves a degenerate weight in the equation. In both cases, the nonlinearity under consideration lies on the boundary. For the...

Absorption effects for some elliptic equations with singularities

A. Porretta (2005)

Bollettino dell'Unione Matematica Italiana

Similarity:

We give an expository review of recent results obtained for elliptic equations having natural growth terms of absorption type and singular data. As a new result, we provide an application to the case of lower order terms of subcritical growth, proving a general solvability result with measure data for a class of equations modeled on (1.6).

On some nonlinear elliptic systems with coercive perturbation in R.

Said El Manouni, Abdelfattah Touzani (2003)

Revista Matemática Complutense

Similarity:

A nonlinear elliptic system involving the p-Laplacian is considered in the whole R. Existence of nontrivial solutions is obtained by applying critical point theory; also a regularity result is established.
